Should my cancer patient mother go on a trip halfway across the country?

Hi, my mom is a 42 year old breast cancer patient. She has stage 3a cancer. She had a mastectomy in april and is currently undergoing chemo. She is given the full TAC regimen once every 21 days. After her chemo, she has a pump continuously giving her benadryl,decadron, and ativan for 5 days. Well on top of all this, last thursday she was having chest pain so she went to the hospital and had a chest CT. Turns out she has four small blood clots in her left lung. She was in the hospital to take care of those when they found that she had an infection. Just got those results back and its MRSE. Well they took out her portacath and tomorrow they are putting in a picc line. Then on Monday she has another chemo treatment. Then on Wednesday we are supposed to go to see my brother graduate from the army. We live in Missouri and he's stationed in South Carolina. So thats about a 15 hour drive one way. I don't think we should go because i think it would be risky taking her that far, in an SUV halfway across the country. She won't be driving, I will. Any Suggestions?

What's the equivalent hydrocortisone dose to 10mg of decadron?

i was prescribed decadron to reduce brain swelling and hopefully reduce a benign brain tumor on the optical chiasm...now the whole medical problem has really got into me and affected me big time and i became so depressed...i cry every single day at least 3 times and i feel that i don't want to get up in the morning...now i want to know if such a condition could affect my response to treatment??i mean could i stop responding to treatment because of that depression??could my psychological state affect responding to treatment?? please any help.

I have Cervical Cancer and will be starting Radiation and Chemo this coming week. I have been prescribed, Percocet 5mg for pain, Reglan 10 mg for Nausea, Decadron 4 mg, and Promethegan 25 mg suppositories also for Nausea.
