I have a hyperactive thyroid. Was on 50 mg levoxyl and was up'd to 75 mg.?

will i gain or lose weight on a higher dosage?

I take levoxyl 0.15mg. I used to take a lower dose of 0.1 mg. I saved the unused old perscription to use in case I ever cant get the refill in time. Or for use in a national emergency or desaster when I cant get a prsecription filled on time. I just take 1 1/2 pills of the old 0.10 mg.med for the same dose I need. I assumed that it would be ok for a few days and that it would still have some good and ,at the least do no harm. The old med is five years old.It has always been stored in a dark dry place at room tempturature.I

I'm taking Levoxyl but recently my acne has started flaring up. In the past I was prescribed a form of doxycycline for my acne but was not on Levoxyl at the time...I'm wondering if I can still take it?

I sprained my ankle badly and am in a lot of pain. I plan to see the doctor tomorrow if there is no improvement. In the meantime, though, I'd like to list all the other meds I take. Could you please tell me if taking Unisom would be contraindicated? I'f I'm going to be in pain, I might as well sleep through it, LOL. I take Levethroid for hypothyroidism. I took blood work, and while my freeT4 came back fine my TSH came back way below normal range. It is supposed to be between .4-4.0 and mine was .02. I emailed my Dr. he is not in today and the nurse wasn't concerned because the T4 was fine. Does anyone have any insight on this subject.

I have a healthy 3 week old baby and I am making too much milk to the point I can feed her and I also need to pump to relieve my breasts. I take one 50 mcg pill a day of Levothroid which disqualifies me from donating my breast milk. Otherwise I fit the criteria. I am alcohol/street drug free and disease free. I do not drink coffee or caffeinated beverages. oh...I do take 1 Vicodin about every third day which I am told is safe. I would imagine this is still better than formula. I have lots of milk piling up in the freezer but would love to give it to someone who pays for milk. How can I donate my milk or do I just start dumping it?

Im 5wks pregnant and I have hypothyroidism after treatment for hyperthyroidism. I am looking for support/answers from women who also have hypothyroidism. I won't be able to see the endocrinologist for another week. Should I go ahead and take a bit of extra hormone daily until my visit? I am asking because yesterday I felt very fatigued and had muscle aches. I'm currently on 88mcg levothroid. Other than that I feel fine

I have been on this med. for about 8 months, I was on Synthroid before that My dr. switched me because he doulbed me on Sun. and I got hot flashes. I need help with this excissive sweating issue.

I take the Synthroid generic and I was told taking it sublingually helps you absorb it better. I know this works with Armour, but don't know if the Synthroid generic will physically break down well enough (since it might not be designed for it) or if it's not going to be good for me. I got a doc's appoint but I'm crashing till then...zzZZZzz....

when i was a little girl i used to always urinate on myself.. and i finally had a procedure to make my bladder larger because it turned out i had a bladder the size of an infant at 9 years old. well the last couple of weeks i have been having this problem again. I cant tell when i have to urinate until last minute and i haven't been able to make it to the bathroom i had a baby 4 months ago but when i was pregnant and right after i had him this never happened. i also just started the medication synthroid. do you know what the problem can be?
